Festival De Mexico was born out of love for Mexican food, live music and of course the tequila. 11 festivals and over 50 000 attendees later, its safe to safe AAAAAAAARIBA! The festival has welcomed its new home for Johannesburgs biggest tequila and mexican food festival yet again on Saturday 3rd May 2025 for our 12th instalment of South Africas most favorite day out!

Montecasino’s Outdoor Event Arena will be blanketed in colourful décor to transform into the ultimate fiesta setting for Festival De Mexico. Get ready for the biggest mexican food and tequila celebration with food from Joburgs best mexican street food vendors, a whole lot of tequila, cocktails by the plenty, a piñata showdown, South Africas hottest chilli eating competition & entertainment in bucket loads.
